1. Organosorb can also be washed with acid in advance (Organosorb 11) or have a higher methylene blue and molasses number (Organosorb 10 MB and 10 AA).
2. US mesh size = standard sieves. No 4 = 4.75mm / No 6 = 3.35mm / No 8 = 2.36mm / No 12 = 1.7mm / No 16 = 1.18mm / No 30 = 0.6mm / No 40 = 0.425mm / No 100 = 0.15mm / No 200 = 0.075mm.
