As our Group Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor, you ensure that DESOTEC operates safely and fully in line with European ADR regulations. You serve as our central expert on dangerous goods compliance, steering our international ADR framework, supporting our teams across Europe, and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory authorities. Your work secures safe operations, smooth compliance, and consistent standards across all DESOTEC locations.

What will you do as a Group Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor at DESOTEC?
As our Group Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor, you will
develop, maintain, and implement all ADR procedures company-wide.
manage DESOTEC’s entire international ADR organization and structure.
act as the owner of DESOTEC’s ADR model and guarantee its successful deployment.
manage all ADR‑related permits, inspections, and audits.
be responsible for preparing and submitting all legally required ADR reports to the relevant authorities.
maintain dialogue with regulatory authorities in all relevant EU Member States and represent the company’s interests in regulatory matters, with local support where needed.
support our Logistics team in handling any on-the-road challenges.
provide training to Logistics and other departments involved in ADR processes.
Who are you as a Group Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor?
You preferably have a master’s degree, and you bring at least three to five years of relevant professional experience.
You hold a valid ADR Safety Advisor certificate.
You are naturally driven and hands‑on and have excellent problem-solving skills.
You communicate fluently in Dutch, English and French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German is a strong plus.
You have a good knowledge of MS Office, any ERP experience is a plus.
You are assertive and an excellent communicator when dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
You are prepared to travel to our European hubs when required (~ 6 to 8 times a year).
You are based in Belgium.
