Register: Benzene and VOC Reduction: Achieving Air Emission Standards with Best Available Technology (BAT)
Webinar info
About
There is growing concern about the removal of hazardous air pollutants, such as VOCs and benzene, from industrial emissions to protect both the environment and public health. This concern has led to more stringent reporting, regulations, standards, and violation enforcement from the EPA.
The Clean Air Act has established regulations like the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), which require petrochemical facilities, refineries, benzene waste operations (BWON), and chemical plants to implement maximum achievable control technologies to reduce benzene emissions. Additionally, the New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) mandate that these manufacturers adopt the best available technologies (BAT) to control VOC emissions.
Join us Tuesday, October 29th at 1:00 PM EST to learn:
- What air emission sources need purification
- How to reduce benzene and VOC emissions from your processes
- Case studies of best available technologies (BAT) for emission reduction
