What do you do as an Electromechanical / Electrotechnical Project Engineer at DESOTEC?
As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with experienced colleagues on challenging projects that promote sustainability. You will take on a versatile and educational role where you can truly make a difference.
Design & Engineering
You collaborate with the current project team to design electromechanical systems and processes, always keeping safety, functionality, sustainability, and energy efficiency in mind. For your designs and automation tasks, you will use tools such as Inventor, EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Siemens Step 7.
Documentation & Technical Reporting
You contribute to the creation of functional descriptions, P&IDs, CE files, technical manuals, and safety analyses.Testing & Commissioning
You assist in executing test procedures and support the commissioning of new installations.Cross-Departmental Collaboration
You work closely with various departments across the company, including R&D, Production, QESH, and Purchasing, to realize projects efficiently.Internal & External Communication
You ensure clear communication with colleagues, suppliers, and other external stakeholders. You act as a bridge between design and implementation.Innovation & Knowledge Sharing
You keep an eye on technological innovations and contribute fresh ideas to the team. In doing so, you help DESOTEC stay innovative and future-focused.Safety

Who are you as an an Electromechanical / Electrotechnical Project Engineer?
You hold a Master’s degree in Electromechanics or Electrical Engineering.
You have a passion for technology and automation, and you preferably already have a few years of experience.
You work in a structured and precise manner, and you communicate clearly.
You are eager to learn, take initiative, and actively contribute ideas.
You are fluent in Dutch and English, and have a good basic knowledge of French.
You are familiar with Inventor, EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Siemens Step 7 – or willing to quickly learn these tools.
