The Expert Field Technician main responsibilities would be to slurry good carbon from a dry bulk tanker into vessels at client sites and bring the used carbon from the client sites to the Red Bluff, CA.  The clients are all over the country, but it is point A to B loads that usually allows the drivers to be home a 1-2 nights a week and usually part or all of the weekend.  It does require occasional travel leaving out on Sundays or coming home on Saturdays.

As our Slurry Driver your main duties and responsibilities will include:

As a Expert Field Technician you will be required to pick up your Tractor/trailer in Red Bluff, California and travel to customer sights. If the job requires overnight stay you will be provided a company credit card which you will use to book hotel accommodations as well as purchase your meals while on the road. You will be required to meet at the customer site with a site contact and remove carbon from the customers carbon vessel. After the spent carbon has been removed you will then fill the carbon vessel with fresh carbon using the Slurry trailer. Training on this method will be provided to the driver in abundance before the Slurry Driver is sent out on their own. At Desotec we believe in safety first and will never send a Slurry Driver to any site by themselves if we are not fully confident that they have the knowledge and the ability to do the job safely. Once the job is complete the driver is responsible to transport the spent carbon back to Red Bluff, California where it will be removed and regenerated.

To protect the planet – that’s our mission at DESOTEC.

Desotec's sustainable mobile filtration solutions based on activated carbon are deployed for the treatment of Air Emissions, Wastewater, Remediation, Chemicals and Biogas. Through a rental model, our filters are distributed to production companies globally. Once the filter is saturated, it is replaced, and the spent carbon sent for recycling & re-use. That is how we unburden our customers of the administrative, moral, logistical and ecological consequences of their purification needs. The result: they can focus 100% on what really counts - sustainable production.

That is how we fight for (y)our brighter future!
