Why are we looking for in a Shipping & Receiving Material Support Specialist?

We are looking for an entry level Material Support role to provide a wide variety of support related to the purchasing, storage, movement, and control of materials. 

As a Shipping & Receiving Material Support Specialist we expect:

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality

• Participate in Physical Inventory and cycle count

• Unloading incoming shipments and receiving goods into facility

• Run daily orders for shipping and receiving

• Prepare tags, hazardous material paperwork, international documents

• Marks materials with identifying information

• Uses computer to enter records with other team members

• Drives material handling equipment to transport inventory

• Utilizes manual and automated material handling equipment

• Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines / procedures for sale housekeeping and personal protection

• Contributes to division results and performance

• Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

• May perform other duties as required

Who are you as a Shipping & Receiving Material Support Specialist:

• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to team members and management staff

• Must be able to read information through facility computer software

• Preferred:  6 months’ relevant work experience and forklift experience
