What do you do as a Team Lead Finance at DESOTEC?
Manage the Complete Accounting Cycle: Oversee all accounting activities from A to Z in Navision, with an upcoming transition to Microsoft Dynamics.
Ensure Accurate Reporting: Lead monthly closing processes for multiple entities and help prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for various stakeholders.
Support Consolidation: Assist in the consolidation of financial statements across the group.
Handle Intercompany Invoicing: Manage invoicing between various group companies.
Ensure Compliance and Audit Readiness: Maintain compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations while supporting internal and external audits.
Perform Balance Analyses and Reconciliations: Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
Prepare Annual Accounts: Compile annual accounts for different entities and support the preparation of consolidated group accounts.
Facilitate Group Reporting: Produce consistent and accurate group reporting at various consolidation levels.
Communicate with Stakeholders: Work closely with departments, customers, and suppliers to maintain efficient financial processes.
Support and Coordinate: Assist the Accounting Manager and coordinate tasks across all of the different stakeholder teams.
Lead and Mentor: Supervise junior accountants, guide their work, and help onboard and train new team members.
Drive Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and support the integration of new accounting software and ERP systems.
You’ll work closely with the Accounting Manager and be part of an amazing Finance Team.

Who are you as a Team Lead Finance at DESOTEC?
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Accounting.
At least 10 years in a similar role, ideally within a multinational organization.
Proficient in Navision and Office 365; knowledge of Dynamics F&O is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proven experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities in both Dutch and English; French is a plus.
High level of accuracy and a keen eye for the finer points of financial reporting.
