Given our strong growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain our high-tech reactivation furnaces to the highest standards. As our newest colleague, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our reactivation furnaces.
As our Maintenance Supervisor, your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Managing and supervising a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring that our 4 furnaces are maintained in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase furnace reliability.
Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with other departments to ensure the smooth running of operations.
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to improve furnace performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Managing and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and furnace history.
Who are you as a Maintenance Supervisor at DESOTEC?
You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
You have at least 3 years of experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role, with a focus on furnace maintenance.
You have knowledge of maintenance procedures (and of course experience in maintaining some kind of furnace is considered a plus).
You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement solutions to improve furnace performance.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with other departments. You can speak and write in English and Dutch fluently!
You have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
