As a B2B Technical Sales Engineer - Birmingham region, you’ll get the chance to…
manage and develop new business in the Birmingham region within the field of air and water treatment as well as in process applications;
provide technical and commercial solutions to customers at all levels: purchasing, process engineering, plant management;
analyse the customer’s technical and commercial needs and to translate them into the most optimal solution, accompanied by an appropriate follow-up and service;
actively prospect potential clients in order to expand the customer base in your assigned region and to make offers and handle new requests;
travel frequently and participate in international fairs several times a year.
You’d be working independently from a home office base and you’d also have the opportunity to occasionally work from our hub in New Mills or from our HQ in Belgium.
Who are you as a B2B Technical Sales Engineer - Birmingham region?
You are a proactive (bio-)chemical or environmental engineer with strong analytical skills;
You are ideally located in the region of Birmingham;
You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing;
You preferably have several years of technical sales experience in a related sector (biogas, chemistry, water treatment, soil remediation, environmental techniques, etc.);
You like to work independently and are not afraid to assertively approach customers as prospection and business development are part of your daily operation.
