What will you do as an Lab Technician at DESOTEC?
PFAS analyses on used activated carbon and wastewater
Together with two colleagues, you are responsible for carrying out PFAS analyses.
You follow a complete extraction protocol and then run the samples on the LCMS instrument.
You analyse and interpret the obtained results.
You accurately record everything in our ERP system (currently still Navision, soon Microsoft Dynamics 365).
Acceptance analyses on saturated activated carbon
You regularly perform various analyses on used activated carbon, such as dry matter, flash point, XRF, …
You correctly interpret and report the results in our ERP system.
ICP analyses
You perform ICP analyses on water samples from our own water treatment system or those from customers.
Collaboration & support
You work closely with your colleagues to complete analyses correctly and on time.
You regularly interact with colleagues from other departments within DESOTEC.
You support the lab team where needed and step in flexibly.
Who are you as an Lab Technician?
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or scientific field.
Experience with LCMS and ICP? That definitely gives you an advantage.
You switch effortlessly between tasks and enjoy the energy that variety brings.
You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
You are strong in planning and organizing, and you remain calm even when priorities shift quickly.
You are a true team player who supports colleagues whenever and wherever needed, but you can also work independently with ease.
You work thoroughly, accurately, and with great attention to order and cleanliness.
Working safely is in your DNA – you always follow procedures with precision.
