Your responsibilities as our Project Manager at DESOTEC include:
Lead Process Improvement & Solution Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new processes or system solutions, and research and evaluate potential solutions, tools, or technologies to address identified process gaps or inefficiencies.
Project Planning and Monitoring: Work closely with the different departments to create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress against established plans, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep workstreams on track.
Resource & Budget Management: Establish Budget and Resources together with different stakeholders, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with project requirements and timelines.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and define key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and solution implementations. Maintain the project planning, follow up and guard key project milestones. Generate regular progress reports and performance metrics for stakeholders and senior management to track project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and issues, assess their potential impact on project objectives, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maximize project success.
Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders and develop change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new processes or solutions within the organization. Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and escalations.
Who Are You as Our Project Manager at DESOTEC?
Educational Background: Master's degree, ideally in Engineering (Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Chemical), with a focus on innovation and process improvement.
Experience: Approximately 10 years in project management, project portfolio management, or PMO roles.
Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English to ensure smooth communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Highly structured with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize tasks effectively.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled in identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across all organizational levels.
Project Management Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
Leadership Qualities: Capable of motivating teams, driving results, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Flexibility: Willing to travel as needed.
