All manufacturing companies use water in some way: as cooling water, for rinsing, during production itself and for consumption. In the end this results in the production of wastewater which cannot be discharged without treatment. In addition, process water can require purification before it can be used or reused and more and more companies are investigating the possibility to reuse wastewater or find  alternative water sources.
