Accounts Payable Accountant
Due to a colleague’s upcoming maternity leave, we’re looking for someone who can support our team until the end of the year. You’ll quickly take on responsibilities, contribute to the daily financial follow‑up, and help ensure smooth and accurate operations.

Why are we hiring an Accounts Payable Accountant?
One of our colleagues in the Finance team will be going on maternity leave later this year. That’s why we’re currently looking for a motivated colleague to temporarily take over her responsibilities. You can start with us as soon as possible and support the team until the end of this year.
What will you do as an Accounts Payable Accountant at DESOTEC?
You will:
Efficiently process and follow up on all incoming invoices and payment reminders.
Monitor the approval processes for purchase invoices.
Record purchase invoices and bank statements.
Book expense reports.
As an administrative jack-of-all-trades, support the accounting department.
Who are you as an Accounts Payable Accountant?
You hold a relevant diploma (bachelor's degree or secondary education).
You are an administrative jack-of-all-trades who takes satisfaction in reducing your colleagues’ workload.
You function well both independently and as part of a team and can seamlessly integrate into an existing team.
You are communicatively skilled and can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, French is a plus.
You have good knowledge of Excel and a basic knowledge of other tools of Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Some knowledge of accounting is a plus.
