Maintenance Technician

Then our vacancy Maintenance Technician Furnaces might be something for you! In this job you will work safely on our reactivation furnaces (which enable us to reactivate/recycle saturated carbon). Of course we provide a comprehensive training in which you get to know the processes.
Furthermore, you will also have the following duties and responsibilities:
You are responsible for all activities related to preventive and curative technical maintenance in our production departments.
You are responsible for the periodic checks and assist in the planning of these checks.
You think along proactively in terms of possible optimizations of our processes and installations, so that we remain 'future proof'.
You provide support for the installation of new machines and equipment.
You manage the subcontractors working within maintenance.
You are responsible for following up on the necessary inspections of the various installations.
You contribute to a safe and clean working environment and take care of the necessary responsibilities.
You are willing and able to carry out (or help to carry out) minor repairs where/when necessary.
You will work safely on our reactivation furnaces. Naturally, we provide comprehensive training in which you will learn all obout the processes.
Profile
You have a bachelor degree in electromechanics (or another technical field) or equivalent through experience.
You ideally have 2 to 5 years of experience given the complexity/technicality of the job. Additional experience is certainly a plus.
You have a very good knowledge of mechanics (and ideally also a basic knowledge of electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics).
You can work both independently and in a team and are able to manage several people. Leadership experience is a plus!
You are hands-on, have technical skills and you attach great importance to order, cleanliness and safety.
You are fluent in Dutch and English (both oral and written). Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
You will rotate on a standby shift (after your training).
