Your core responsibility is developing new business opportunities in North-America within our target markets (Wastewater, Air Emissions, Remediation, Chemical industry & Biogas). 

  • You are responsible for business intelligence and data management. Based upon your analyses of customers, competitors, applications, legislations, solutions, pricing, etc. and complete business cases, you steer the commercial team in the optimal strategic direction

  • Providing input, market insights and direction to identify and connect to interesting prospects

  • Building a sustainable and long-term relationship/partnership with important industrial players

  • Participate and expand the network of relevant associations, consortia, etc. in cooperation with the regional business directors and business development managers

  • Detect the need of being present at conferences & fairs for Desotec in North-America and support Business Development in prospecting at these events

  • Analyze lead & contact activity on our owned channels and make key decisions in our adaptation toward the North-American market

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master in Business Administration, Marketing, or Related Professional Field

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a business development/sales/marketing function

  • Experience in a related sector such as environmental technology, chemistry, air/water purification or ground remediation is an asset  

  • Eager to embrace technology and actively seeking out new tools for research and implementation

  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset

  • Strong communication and networking skills

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
