As an entry level Production Material Handler for DESOTEC you will maintain the discharge of reactivated product movement from production to verification storage.

You will be responsible for:

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality

• Reads production schedule, custom package specifications, product notes, safety data sheets. Conveys materials and items from production areas to other designated react areas.

• Marks materials with identifying information. Records amounts of materials per package.

• Prepares packages before putting into storage to ensure conformance to company standards. Uses computer to enter records.

• Drives material handling equipment to transport inventory. Utilizes manual and automated material handling equipment.

• Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.

• Contributes to division results and performance

• Take care of internal and external customer needs and expectations

• May perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements for an entry level Production Material Handler for DESOTEC

• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to team members and management staff.

• Must be able to read information through facility computer software.

• 6 months’ relevant work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility

• Forklift experience preferred but not required

• A can do attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
