Register: Mobile Activated Carbon Filters as a backup for RTOs

Thermal oxidisers and especially RTOs are widely used in industry to treat VOC emissions. As with all equipment, such installations need to undergo periodic maintenance during which there the VOC treatment system is not available. Instead of shutting down production, mobile activated carbon filters can be temporarily used instead as air purification system.

Activated carbon can even be used in emergency situations when a calamity or unexpected shutdown occurs with a thermal oxidiser. Some customers even have a permanent back-up system in place to treat concentrations which exceed the LEL levels.
