What does your team look like as an Credit Controller at DESOTEC?
We can reassure you: no cliché 'grey mice' accountants to be found in our dynamic 16-member Finance team, quite the contrary! The high level of seniority within the team proves that DESOTEC is a great place to work and that the Finance team is a great team to be part of.
As a Credit Controller at DESOTEC, you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
You manage our existing customer portfolio, ensuring close follow-up (by phone and email) in order to reduce our customers' payment terms.
You are ultimately responsible for an optimal DSO of the entire DESOTEC group.
You are responsible for order release and examine each situation with a financially critical eye.
You cooperate with our credit insurer for the application of credit limits and also take care of the monthly reports (overdue receivables + turnover). If necessary, you will prepare a claim file.
You are responsible for customer and supplier creation.
You have regular contact with colleagues from the various departments.
You support the invoicing team during monthly closures.
Who are you as a Credit Controller?
You have a bachelor's degree, preferably in a finance or language field. Candidates with a strong desire to learn the job will also be considered!
You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in an international context.
You have strong administrative skills, like to dot the i's and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office. Do you already have experience with Navision and/or Microsoft Dynamics? Even better!
You function both independently and in a team and can easily integrate into an existing team.
You work in a thorough and structured manner, are eager to learn and driven, and you also have a high sense of responsibility.
You are strong on your feet and possess the necessary assertiveness.
You are communicatively strong and knowledge of Dutch, English and French is required. Knowledge of German is considered a plus.
You report to the Group Finance Director.
