DESOTEC Chief Executive Officer steps down, Pieterjan Goedertier appointed Interim CEO
Roeselare, Belgium – 7 October 2024 – DESOTEC, Europe’s leading provider of mobile filtration solutions, today announced that Julie Santens will step down as Chief Executive Officer of the Company with effect from October 8th, 2024 and that Pieterjan Goedertier has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer. Pieterjan will also continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer. The Board has initiated a search process to find a new Chief Executive.
Under Julie’s leadership, the past 6 years both as CFO and as CEO, DESOTEC continued its focus on expanding its global footprint and services, including with the completion of the acquisition of Evoqua Water Technologies’ Carbon Reactivation and Slurry Services business in June 2023.
Pieterjan has been with DESOTEC since July 2023, joining as Chief Operating Officer from Sibelco Group, a global material solutions company, and has a strong track record of working in recycling and management consulting.
