DESOTEC strengthens US growth ambitions with appointment of Sebastine Ujereh Jr. as new President
Darlington, PA (USA), April 2, 2026 – DESOTEC, the leading provider of circular mobile filtration solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sebastine Ujereh Jr. as President of DESOTEC US, effective March 30, 2026. The appointment comes as DESOTEC enters a new phase of growth in the United States, following the successful build-up of its operations into a fast-growing and established business with operations across key industrial regions in the US, including Pennsylvania, Arizona, California and Texas.
In recent years, DESOTEC has seen strong adoption of its circular Filtration-as-a-Service (FaaS) model across US industries, particularly in sectors such as petrochemical and industrial manufacturing, demonstrating yearly double-digit growth numbers. The model helps customers treat air emissions and water streams in a more flexible and efficient way, as regulatory requirements continue to tighten. To build on this momentum, the company is strengthening its local leadership to scale operations, expand its commercial footprint and accelerate growth in key regions such as the Gulf Coast, where a regional service centre was opened last year in Houston, TX.
To lead this next phase of growth, DESOTEC has appointed Sebastine Ujereh Jr. as President of DESOTEC US. Sebastine brings nearly 20 years of experience of driving value creation and scaling businesses in demanding, performance-driven environments. He began his career at Bain & Company and went on to hold several operational leadership roles, helping organizations accelerate growth and strengthen performance. He spent nearly a decade at FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, a provider of innovative spoolable pipeline technology, where he led critical value creation projects and went on to manage the global Services Division. Most recently, Sebastine served as CEO of Lion Industrial Resources, an environmental services company, where he optimized the organization for growth through commercial transformation and geographic expansion. At DESOTEC, Sebastine will lead the company’s US operations and further expand its footprint in a key strategic market.
