Activated carbon for wastewater treatment

Addition of DESOTEC powdered activated carbon in aerobic or anaerobic biological wastewater treatment plants results in better and stabler operation:

• higher resistance to shock loads, temperature fluctuations and toxic substances;
• better treatment results for bio-recalcitrant or non-biodegradable compounds;
• better reduction of colour and micropollutants;

• better nitrification;
